Tour de Leaves

Tour de Leaves was started in 1998 by the Henderson County Family YMCA. During the course of the first seven years, the venue for the start of the Tour changed from year to year. In 2006, Harmon Field became the venue for the Tour, and it has remained at this location since that year. At the end of the event in October 2008, the YMCA passed the Tour to Friends of Harmon Field who have become the new hosts. The course routes will remain the same, and the event will continue to be held on the third Saturday of October each year. Three routes are offered: (1) Tour de Leaves Grande, 66.3 miles; (2) Tour de Leaves Lite, 31.9; (3) Tour de Leaves Family Fun Route, 4 and 8 miles.

This event raises money for programming scholarships at Harmon Field. Your gift allows us to serve the many people in our community who cannot afford to participate in programs at Harmon Field.

We know that the economy has been hard on everyone this past year, so we are making sponsorships more attractive. Anyone who donates up to $50 will be recognized on a sign at the Start/Finish line. Any donation of $50 or more will be recognized at each of the seven rest stops along the courses.
